Acrylic Art by Jane Goodfellow

Acrylic brush iconWhy choose an acrylic painting?

Well, if you’re pushed for time, acrylics are much quicker for me to do than oil paintings because the paint dries within minutes. Acrylic paintings can look very similar to oil paintings, although oils generally look a tad richer in colour, and are a bit more textured. So if you like the look of an oil painting but really don’t have the time to wait, this is a good alternative and most people can’t tell the difference. And it’s almost as much fun for me to paint in acrylics as it is in oils!

Note: A specific, detailed background, like the paintings on this page, will cost roughly 30% more than a simple colour.
